Daily Sudoku
Every day at midnight, all players get the same new puzzle. The daily sudoku is a shared challenge: you solve exactly the same puzzle as everyone else and can compare your time with friends and family. The challenge is free and always ready when you are.
The difficulty varies from day to day, so the week gives you both quick and demanding sessions. Some days you finish the puzzle during your coffee break, and other days you have to bring out the heavier techniques.
How the daily challenge works
A new puzzle is published every day at midnight Norwegian time. The puzzle is the same for all players around the world, and it can only be played on its own day. If you complete the puzzle, the day counts toward your streak.
Because everyone solves the same puzzle, the daily challenge becomes a real competition. Share your time with friends and see who finishes the puzzle fastest, or use it as your own daily training session.
Keep your streak alive
The streak counts how many days in a row you have completed the daily challenge. If you skip a whole day, the count starts over. Many players use the streak as a daily habit: one puzzle a day keeps both your brain and your statistics in shape.
You can play as a guest, but with a free account your streak, times, and progress are stored safely across devices. That way you lose nothing even if you switch between your phone and your computer.
Techniques that get you through the week
Since the difficulty varies, it pays to have a broad repertoire. These techniques cover most of what you will meet in the daily challenge, and each of them has its own page with interactive examples.
